Meet the Maker
Hi, I am Aleta the artist and metalsmith behind Corbett Jewelry Designs. I have always loved making my own jewelry since I was young but once I got hooked on silversmithing, there was no turning back. I live in Golden BC, a small mountain town in the Rocky Mountain Trench and along the Columbia River. When I am not creating new jewelry designs, I am working as an ACMG Ski Guide or as a professional biologist, specializing in freshwater aquatic habitats and regulatory permitting.
Being connected to nature and animals have always been my thing. I love watching the seasons change - changes in landscape and animal migrations to name a few. I love creating functional, outdoorsy jewelry inspired by the beauty in our natural world. I live just outside of Golden with my husband Markus, our 'slightly' energetic Cattle dog Nacho and our two cats, Jimi and Olive.

My Philisophy
My passion for handmaking unique and wearable jewelry shines through every piece I create. I specialize in designs that explore different textures, dimensions and stories, ensuring that each item is not only beautiful but also perfect for everyday wear. I take pride in using recycled sterling silver in many of my creations, paired with low-impact packaging to minimize my environmental footprint. You won't get a lot of packaging from me when you receive your order!
